I'm Only Getting Two Tattoos

Tattoos were pretty common in my family, but that's not why a had my heart set on getting two heart tattoos on my ankles. I just love hearts and feel they are a symbol of peace and tranquility, and the world can use more of that, don't you think? I know people that have all kinds of crazy tattoos, and some who have absolutely amazing tattoos that I have no idea what the meaning of them are. One of my friends has these dragon tattoos that look almost like they tell a story of some kind, but they are still really violent so I'm just not that big a fan of them. Hearts, on the other hand, show passion and caring, and that's why I'm getting a heart tattoo. My mom is very supportive of this, as is my dad, so I think I'm in good shape here. Now I just need to save up some money to pay for it, because after these two little heart tattoos, that will be the only ones I get. Mom and dad both have a bunch, but I think I just want those two.

Pool versus Hot Tub

With the slow down in the economy, many homeowners who may have been thinking about adding a pool to their backyard are rethinking that decision. In-ground swimming pools can be very expensive. That doesn’t mean a backyard oasis is out of reach though! Anyone can create a beautiful spa-like retreat by incorporating a hot tub into his or her landscape design. Hot tub prices start at about $4000 and even the most expensive models are far less than the cost of having a pool built. The maintenance costs will be much lower as well. With more and more families having to cut back on expenses, a portable spa is a great way to have a “stay-cation” at home. Throw a few steaks on the grill, put up a sheet and project a movie onto the patio wall and relax while the jets massage away the stress. According to the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, there are many mental and physical benefits that come from spending just 15 minutes in jacuzzis, such as lower blood pressure and improved sleep. And bonus…no packing or unpacking to do!

Industry Update

With the American economy in uproar, several companies that find themselves over extended are retracting with alarming speed, losing banks of telesales consultants internationally. How ever, it is a remarkably opportunistic period for those companies finding themselves in a position to expand, because the rapid withdrawal from foreign markets has created pre-existing spaces and call center consultants, fully trained and ready to move forward. In fact, even companies that are not necessarily prepared for this step should consider moving forward into outsource insurance sales. In my professional opinion, the market is ripe for this kind of action and should not be allowed to buoy before companies take advantage. Companies should first assess the viability of an outsource move, as this is also not the time to overextend yourself or your business in any way. Second, they should do due diligence when comparing locations, facilities, and staff; this is a large step, and though it can yield great profit, it is not to be taken lightly. Any companies able to move forward, as mentioned before, should do so with all available haste. While the market certain makes one more cautious, investors should always view a down market as an excellent entry point.

Christmas Gift Exchanges

Christmas is right around the corner and, with your shopping days ahead of you, the list of people you need to shop for increases day by day. Teachers, neighbors, family and friends all need a little something this Christmas and you are responsible for finding something for each one of them. It is often difficult to predict who you need to shop for when little holiday gift show up on your desk or at your front door. While it is a given you will exchange gifts with your best friend or your favorite co-worker, what do you do when you receive something from a casual acquaintance or a neighbor?

It is sensible to stock up on common items like cookies, flavored coffee or candles to give in exchange for tokens of celebrations given to you. While you have to consider who you are giving your gift to, some folks might not appreciate food products. Everyone can use a scented jar candles and with all of the goodies we eat around the holidays, your gift recipient might appreciate the gesture. If you have a friend or a co-worker who supports green efforts, they might appreciate soy candles instead of a regular kind. Let the Christmas shopping begin!

Misconceptions about Disability Insurance

When many people think about disability insurance, they think about something that will protect them if they suffer a serious disability, such an accident that puts them into a wheelchair or does brain damage. And how likely is that to happen? However, this is a misconception of the purpose of disability insurance.

Disabilities can come in all forms. For example, a surgeon who cannot hold her hands steady enough to perform her work, either because of an accident or because of an illness such as Graves' disease, would be considered disabled. Since this is much more likely to have happen than the above scenario, it should demonstrate the importance of disability insurance for physician.

However, the type of disability insurance would be extremely important in a scenario such as the surgeon with shaking hands. Many disability insurance companies are going away from policies with an own occupation clause. Own occupation means that even if you can do other work, since you can't do your own occupation (i.e. work as a surgeon), you will receive full benefits. Without that clause, the insurance company only needs to pay you the difference between what you made as a doctor and make at your new job.

In brief, disability insurance is extremely important for physicians, but its value depends on the type of policy you have. It will therefore be necessary to shop around and explore all your options before choosing a disability insurance policy.

Speak To Customers Directly With Web Landing Pages

One of the things that seems to have gone out of business now that more are turning to the Internet is a sense of relationship building. That good, old fashion one-on-one connection that used to keep customers loyal and coming back for more has gone by the wayside. Or, has it? Thanks to a unique marketing effort using web landing pages, businesses can go high tech and stay personal at the same time.
The value of making connections and relationship building for improving business has never really gone away. The problem has been the challenge involved in implementing personalization in our Internet-based world. Personalized pages and on demand printing can work together to overcome the challenge. When these two things are used together, clients will receive personalized messages in their actual snail mail. They will also be able to log online and check out your company’s message on a personalized web page that’s been created just for them. This extra special touch never fails to impress. Plus, it can translate to be one of the most powerful Internet marketing tools going.
One to one marketing can give your business the personalized touch that so many are lacking today. The power of addressing clients directly should never be discounted. This method is as important now as it was centuries in the past. People just want to feel like they matter to others. This form of marketing gets that job done.

Tricking Out Your Truck

It’s time to pimp out your truck. While you use your truck to do a lot of work, you still want a truck that looks cool enough to show off around town. You need to buy some truck accessories to show off your ride.

First, you probably want some different types of chrome truck accessories. Chrome rims, chrome bars, or maybe even some chrome on your bumper or trailer hits will give that extra shine that will catch the eye of everyone around town.

Truck took boxes are another item you may want to consider. You might even want to buy a chrome plated one. A nice tool box not only adds functionality to your truck, but can enhance the looks. It can also work as a seat for a couple of people in the back of your truck while you’re tailgating the football game over the weekend. Of course, if you are going to go tailgating, get yourself a couple of team flags to hand from the back of your truck. Show off your team spirit.

Finding the right accessories for your truck shouldn’t be difficult. Just decide what you want and then go out and pick them up from your local store. In no time, you will have a tricked out truck that you can brag about to your buddies.

Need a Wedding Website

Does anybody know a good web designer? In a little over 3 months, I’m getting married to the love of my life. He and I both think that a website would be a good way to communicate with family members and other guests planning on coming to the castle wedding.

Of course, neither of us know a thing about web design! And we also don’t want to spend a lot of money on this. I thought about trying to use one of those template designs, but I’m just not web savvy enough to really understand how to do it properly.

Basically, we just need a simple website with information about our wedding in Michigan. Things like the date, our engagement photos, and directions to the destination wedding would need to be included. Also, a guestbook for our family and friends to leave comments on would be nice.
Ideally, we want to launch this website as soon as possible. So, if you or someone you know can help, please let me know. I’m hoping to have the site online within 2 weeks.

Also, I think we still need to buy the domain for the site. And hosting also. If you have any suggestions, I’ll be glad to hear them!

Interesting California Bail Bond Law

Most people understand that in the United States we are innocent until proven guilty. That is the reason that if you are arrested and put in jail you can be bailed out. This way you and your lawyer can have time to prepare for the case and you can return to work and a normal lifestyle.

Here in California, as well as many other states, the courts will set bail at $20,000, sometimes higher. Most people can not afford this financial burden, therefore in California bail bonds exist. A bail bond allows a defendant to only come up with ten percent of the bail which in most cases is much more affordable. Usually it is a family member or loved one that will put up the money for this.
I recently interviewed a Sacramento bail bonds agent who informed me of an interesting law that I did not know existed. Did you know that if you bail a family member or loved one out of jail using a bail bondsman that you can not instruct the bail bondsman to return that person to jail? Even if you think that you know that they are going to skip out on their bail, the bail bondsman can do nothing. It is definitely something you should think about before you help someone by using a bail bond agency

Taking it to the Next Level

It all started when I got a Sony Handycam for Christmas. I started shooting video of just about everything, but soon came to realize I needed better video editing software. So I bought some nice software and began learning to use it. At the same time I started getting a couple of my friends involved as “actors.”

The creative video making project took off, and soon we were posting videos on YouTube on a fairly regular basis. And the videos started getting more creative every time. We even create our own funny special effects and start out by creating story boards. Our last video got over one thousand viewings in the first week that it was up.

YouTube doesn’t have the best quality because of the format. I wanted to find a way to get this last video in a format that I could market myself in a way that might take me to the next level. The obvious answer: DVD. So I burned it, but it still wasn’t good enough. Fortunately, one of my “actors” has a DVD printer. Not that DVD printing is rocket science or anything, but most people don’t have DVD printers. So now all I have to do is figure out who or where to send this to so I can take my cinematography to the next level!
