Hi guys! It's day one of filming out here in the Bahamas and I never thought a small crime drama television series would bring me to a tropical island! The scenery is absolutely outstanding. I've never seen such a blue ocean or such a red sky as the sun sets. The hotel is perfect and they even had champagne on ice waiting for us when we arrived! So after a good two days of partying it was finally time to get down to business. The storyline is basically that my character and Detective Carter had to come out here while searching for the leader of a drug cartel.

For those of you who watch the show regularly, you know that a relationship between our characters was going to blossom at some point and now they are in paradise let's just say some sparks will fly! There have been a couple of low points to the trip already though. For instance I got horribly burned on the first day! I'm 32-years-old but I still don't listen to my mom when she says pack the best suntan lotion you can find! So I turned a bit of a reddish pink color which was not exactly in keeping with my character's suave ways. The directors insisted I use tanning lotion to try and turn the red to a more brown-ish hue. So I tried it with a really dark tanning lotion and I have to admit I look really exotic! However, in the scene earlier today where I had to kiss Carter, I left some brown smudge on his lips which had us all falling about the place! So all in all I am having a blast out here and, despite my tanning lotion woes, I think these next few episodes are going to turn out to be our best yet.

14. How Bad Does Getting Shot with an Airsoft Gun Hurt?
