Back Pain Since Having My Baby

I have horrible lower back pain. It started during the last trimester of my pregnancy so I figured that it would go away after the baby was born. It slowly got better until about a month ago. My baby is six months old now and she weighs almost 20 pounds. Every time that I pick her up, my lower pain actually throbs with pain. I’m not sure how to get lower back pain relief. I don’t want to take any medicines because I am nursing. I’m pretty sure that carrying my baby around is making it worse but I cannot help that. It’s not like I can stop picking her up.

I’m not sure if there are any natural pain relief methods that I could try. I thought that exercising would help but I think that might be making it worse too. I’m at the point where I cannot even walk on my treadmill without feeling pain in my lower back afterward.
